Collaboration between Scientists and Political Authorities (Mid-February 2025)
A research collaboration has been established with the Kitengela Municipality.
Meetings were organized between the scientific team and the municipal authorities of Kitengela to discuss the project roadmap, in the presence of the Director and representatives from the departments of Environment, Climate Change, Health, and Urban Planning, as well as the officer in charge of citizen participation.
These discussions led to the validation of a roadmap and the identification of research needs, as well as appropriate formats for sharing research findings and data and implementing capacity-building activities.
